The Tiverton Middle School Guidance Department's objective is to ensure all students will receive support with social/emotional, academic and career planning skills. We will guide students to develop appropriate social interactions, healthy self-concepts, productive work habits and career awareness.

  • East Bay Community Action Program: a local non-profit organization that supports families in need, including free counseling service and assistance with food, housing and utility payments. Call 401-437-1000  www.ebcap.org
  • ASPEN parent portal is a computer based program for parents to see how their child is doing in all of their classes.  You can see all scores from assignments and what work is missing.  Please see the Student-Services office or the Parent Resource Tab for an application to get started.
  • TMS offers Homework Club every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Late bus transportation is available on those days.  Many teachers stay after to offer extra help.
  • We are looking for 7th and 8th grade volunteers to tutor 5th and 6th grade students during Homework Club.
