Dear Tiverton Families,
We are excited to share that Pocasset School has officially earned a 5-Star Rating from BrightStars, the highest recognition in Rhode Island’s early childhood quality rating system!
Pocasset received the highest possible rating in all 10 areas evaluated, including classroom environments, curriculum, staff qualifications, leadership, and family engagement. The school also earned an outstanding score of 5.44 on its classroom quality assessment.
This achievement reflects the dedication of Principal Jennifer Pushee, lead teachers Brittany Edwards and Julie Eagan, early childhood coordinator Lindsay Jacobs, and the entire Pocasset team. Their commitment to providing young children with a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment is making a difference every day.
We are proud of the work happening at Pocasset and grateful to the staff and families who make this such a special place for our youngest learners.
