Good Afternoon Pocasset Families,
Many thanks to our awesome PTO for running our Holiday Shop last week, and thank you to all the volunteers who assisted our students in shopping and keeping the shop stocked up with items.
Free COVID-19 Test Kits: We have been very fortunate this year to have very few cases of COVID. That said, we know the virus is still out there. To help prevent an outbreak after the upcoming winter break on December 22, 2022, we plan to send home with every child a COVID 19 At-Home Test Kit. We ask that parents administer the test sometime before children return to school on January 3, 2023. IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CHILD TO BE PROVIDED A TEST KIT PLEASE COMPLETE THE FORM BELOW:
We have a busy but fun week at Pocasset! Here’s our activities:
Tuesday December 20: Snowflake Day (Snowflake themed clothes/hairware and/or Blue & White Clothes Day)
Wednesday December 21: Candy Cane Day (Candy Cane themed clothes/hairware and/or Red & White Clothes Day)
Thursday December 22: Grinch Day (Dr. Seuss' Grinch themed clothes/hairware and/or Green & White Clothes Day); Holiday Concert at THS (permission slip and more information to follow); Free COVID-19 test kits will be sent home.
Friday December 23: PAJAMA DAY!! (Please note: Friday December 23 is a half day and school ends at Noon)
School resumes on Tuesday, January 3rd.
